What a wonderful commentary on the Walk for Peace, Annette. The difference between what the Venerable monks sought and what the current administration seeks is unmistakable. The Orange Man seeks attention everywhere, and will do anything to get it. He is destroying our way of being in the world. The m ones hope to remind all of us that peace really depends on what we do every day. "Today will be my peaceful day," paying attention to writing this phrase, to the breathing we do as we write it or repeat it, will help us slow down, focus on those around us and what they need and want. Couldn't be more different. I'm glad you and Wendy were able to participate in Richmond. You brought this to the rest of us in your writing. Thanks
Loved reading about this, Annette. The energy of the collective action makes such a powerful difference! It's so helpful to notice what quality of sensations the nervous system registers and produces in the body, before, during and after the action. That you've continued to do the daily practice says so much. Thank you for sharing your experience (and spreading peace). 🕊️✨

It was a joy to be with the monks, even from a distance. They are such a strong reminder of the power of peace. Thanks for reading, Keith.
I can imagine! I could even feel a little of that peace just reading about it (and seeing the photos)! Thanks again, Annette.
You made me feel like I was there with all of you, feeling that quiet strength and peaceful motion. So beautiful, Annette, thank you for sharing this.
I’m so glad you enjoyed it and that you walked with me. May you have a peaceful day.
Of the many outstanding and insightful pieces you have written, this is one of the most important and for me, most moving, of them all. Thank you!!!
I’m glad you found it moving, Anne-Marie. That’s the power of peace. May you have a peaceful day!
177204. Thank you for this piece Annette. It caused me siting alone to sing Enter, Rejoice and Come In.
One of my favorite songs! I started singing it immediately. Then I sang Spirit of Life, which does that for me as well. Thanks for sharing!
Oh, how wonderful! Yes, that’s perfect!
