Recently I had an accident and broke my leg in 14 places. The pain was excruciating, but the care I received was extraordinary- from nurses, surgeons, techs, assistants, friends and family. Through it all I kept thinking of those in Ukraine and Gaza who don’t have access to such care. I am grateful and pray for them.
I so appreciate the connection to the horrors happening in Gaza following the horrific attack on Israel. It speaks volumes that you could think about that in the midst of your own excruciating pain. May you heal well and may peace find its way to Israel and Palestine.
That is true. We learn to be grateful and learn by being grateful.
Thanks for the beautiful reminder. Yes Wendy's practice builds goodness. Gratitude itself becomes and accidental mentor.
Yes it does on both counts!
I’m grateful for dirty dishes, laundry to fold, and a lumpy mattress. I have food, clothing, and a place to sleep at night. xxoo
Isn’t that the truth? We have so much. Reminding ourselves of that matters. Thank you for that important reminder!
