Yes. I wish I had known her longer. Not only was she the first person I knew who died, she was the first person I knew who died of cancer. Sad!
Yes. And the treatments today have come such a long way toward ensuring a longer life. My first death was my grandfather about the same age.
Thank goodness for that. I can’t wait until this is all behind us with not only a cure but prevention so cancer is eliminated entirely! Maybe not in my lifetime, but I can hope…
