It's time to start writing!
Who will you honor with a story about how they shaped your life?
As I take a break today, I hope you’ll start thinking about and drafting stories about your accidental mentors. In a couple weeks, I’ll share some of the tips I’ve learned about writing these pieces and invite you to submit yours. I’ll then pick the best ones to publish here.

There have been so many accidental mentors but I think the first was my mother .She died when I was 16 and she was 42. She has mentored me long after she left and indirectly led me to so many mentors in my life. I am so grateful for all of them but she was the first that I would like to honor.
