Introducing a new schedule

An announcement and a preview of what's to come

Happy Saturday, my dear readers! I hope you’re having a good weekend. I’ve received feedback from some of you that you’re having trouble keeping up with my daily "Accidental Mentors” posts, and I’ll be honest with you, I am, too!

You might recall that I took a break last weekend. I found that I really enjoyed the time to sit with the women I’d written about that week (figuratively, that is) and carefully consider who will be coming up in the week ahead. As a result, I’ve decided to continue that pattern for the time being. I will post new stories Monday through Friday and then will give you and me time to catch up on the weekends. I hope that works for you.

So many of you have told me how reading these stories has caused you to think about the women who have been influential in your life. That thrills me because that’s exactly what this project is all about! Some of you have gone a step further and asked about my process for writing "Accidental Mentors.” I’ve heard from you, “I’d like to do something like this, but I don’t know where to start.”

Stay tuned for an upcoming announcement about ways I hope to support you in honoring the women who have shaped your life. What a wonderful world it would be if women felt appreciated and acknowledged for their contributions! I hope you’ll join me in making it happen.
